We recommend approaching on the B4343 to Tregaron. In Tregaron go to the centre of the village until you see the Talbot Hotel in front of you. Follow the road round to the right and leave Tregaron passing the Red Kite Museum on your left, the police station and the hospital on your right. After about 3 miles you will enter Llanddewi Brefi. Drive to the centre of the village with the New Inn on your right. From here the direction are the same as the directions from the south.
We recommend M4, Carmarthen and the A485 to Lampeter. Turn left into the town of Lampeter. At the mini roundabout in the centre of the town, turn right. Go straight across the next mini roundabout and take the next right following the A485 toward Tregaron. Stay on this road for about 8 miles passing through several small villages. After Llanio turn right signposted to Llanddewi Brefi.. Turn right into the village. With the New Inn on your right go straight on and follow the lane round to the right, signposted the Farmers Mountain Road. Climb upwards for a mile or so, ignoring the sign off left to Ffarmers, carrying straight on until the lane flattens out revealing a spectacular view of the valley on your right. After a quarter of a mile you will find Pantglas clearly marked, nestling amongst trees on your right hand side.
